Seasons Greetings

I hope you have all had a very merry Christmas, and are recovering nicely from the huge amounts of food and drink. We had a white Christmas at home, which we enjoyed from inside in the warm with the fire going. The tree looked magnificent (and tastefully decorated this year...brother very offended), and the food we ate was ridiculous. One of my favourite presents this year was a fantastic Indian cookbook, it has over 1000 recipes in, beautiful photography and the pages are bible-thin. It comes in a canvas bag too which is nice. The recipes look so exciting, but there are so many i don't know where to start.

Glasgow Snow

Quick visit up to Glasgow for a few days with Fran. On Tuesday morning we went for a frosty walk round Kelvingrove Park, which is 5 minutes from her flat. It was so pretty under a blanket of snow, although extremely chilly. It was nice when the sun came through the trees and warmed your legs a bit. Love love love Glasgow.

Drowning in Ideas

I feel like i'm using my brain more than i ever have. The last few days i've come home aching from thinking. Having to generate so many ideas then dismiss them is painful. For once i would like to sit on the floor in a stark white room with the door closed, and have no ideas for a while.
